He is the PI of Polyglotasianmedicine.com, which links Asian drug names and searchable manuscripts, to modern botany, biodiversity and phytochemistry. As President of the International Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine (IASTAM) he is interested in bringing attention to the multi-disciplinarity of Asian medicines, conversations between the sciences and humanities, and producing collaborative solutions to allow the better recognition and use of these traditions today.
